Solidworks

The MechEngage Solidworks Series is a set of technical workshops that aim to provide students with a thorough understanding of how to use Solidworks for academic and professional applications. Following along with the workshops will help provide a good start on mastering your 3D mechanical design skills.

The Basic Solidworks Course is made up of 2 sessions that are each 4 hours long (totaling 8 hours of class time), while the Advanced Solidworks course has three 4-hour sessions (totaling 12 hours).

Unless students have a strong understanding of all of the Basic Solidworks Course material, it is recommended that they take the basic course before taking the advanced one. It is recommended that those who have never used Solidworks before take the basic course in 1st semester and the advanced course in 2nd semester (you cannot do both in the same semester).
